At the recent San Diego Comic-Con, the panel for animated science fiction sitcom, Rick and Morty, announced that they’ve just finished recasting ready for season seven.
While this recasting feels somewhat safe in the hands of the producers, I think we can all agree that sometimes they just don’t get it right!
So I’ve decided to round up recastings that felt good for the soul, and those that we *really* could have done without…
1.
Carol from Friends was recast after only one episode, and Ross’ ex-wife went on to become a well-loved character.
2.
But The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’s recast of Aunt Vivian left a sour taste in our mouths.
3.
Let’s be honest, there is only one Eleanor Waldorf, and the Gossip Girl recast was perfect.
4.
But I can’t be the only one who wasn’t impressed with the new Victoria in Twilight, right?
5.
Sean Maguire is *the* only Robin Hood we could ever need in Once Upon A Time.
6.
But Dumbledore’s replacement in Harry Potter was good… Just not good enough.
7.
But Drew Van Acker was born to play Jason DiLaurentis in Pretty Little Liars.
8.
However, Greg being replaced in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend felt a little odd, TBH.
9.
And finally, Noah Centineo took over the role of Jesus on The Fosters, and we never looked back.
Are there any recasts we missed out? Let us know in the comments!
