Seven years before the movie franchise was rebooted, MTV presented teens with Scream, the television series. Set far from Woodsboro, a new Ghostface terrorizes a group of teens in Lakewood, Louisiana, to varying results. The series kind of loses its steam near the end as it rebooted itself during its short run, but the beginning, including a Drew Barrymore–esque appearance from Bella Thorne, is pretty fun.
